Paxon Hollow Orchestra rehearses every Wednesday from 7:15 A.M. until 8:35 A.M. and on Fridays from 8:05 A.M. until 8:35 A.M.

Paxon Hollow String Orchestra (which includes all string players from full orchestra) rehearses every Friday from 7:15 A.M. until 8:05 A.M.

Students should report directly to the Music Room 3upon arriving at school.   Students will have time after rehearsal to go to their lockers.  Students should be arriving by 7:10 A.M. to tune and get set up on stage.  Rehearsal begins promptly at 7:15 A.M.

The Paxon Hollow Orchestra has been rated one of the finest student orchestras on the East Coast, because of the dedication of the orchestra members to be at every rehearsal.

 Students receive a grade for orchestra and string orchestra, based on the following criteria:
50% Attendance
30% Musical Progress -- Marking Period Tape as compared to Entrance Performance Tape
10% Essentials of Music Theory
10% Scales, Shifting and Technique Improvement
