Music Business

This course examines the key elements of the music and recording industry, including artist
development, promotion, publicity, distribution, and performance. Additionally, it will look at
areas such as copyright administration, performance rights organizations, the creative and
technological aspects of the music business, and will include listening to and analyzing popular
music. It will also explore the future of music and the music business, evaluate current and
developing changes and trends, and will serve up the latest information about the music scene.
